Barbara Prince

A native of New York City, Barbara holds an MEd from Rutgers University and is an experienced development professional with a forty-plus year career in grant writing and fundraising, holding positions at Princeton University, The College of New Jersey, and Mercer County Community College. At the Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP), Barbara is primarily responsible for writing and tracking grants and developing the annual sponsorship program by developing relationships with current and potential sponsors. When not at work, Barbara can be found in her garden, hiking trails near and far, and traveling the world. She is proud to be a part of this organization that provides wonderful resources and lifelong learning for aging adults. In retirement, Barbara hopes to continue her lifelong pursuit of learning, engage with interesting people, and expand her travels around the world. She also hopes to contribute to the community through volunteer work, sharing her knowledge, experience, time, and energy towards worthwhile endeavors. To her future retired self, Barbara says, “enjoy the journey and stay active!”
