Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Leticia holds a BA in psychology and a postgraduate degree in clinical psychology from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), as well as master’s degrees in both education and social work from Rutgers University.

Leticia currently works at her private practice, LCA Psychotherapy, and at CMAP. In her practice, she provides individual and family therapy, including clinical assessments, psychotherapeutic interventions, and referrals. She also offers clinical supervision to social workers pursuing full licensure and has led psychoeducational and therapeutic groups. Her previous experience includes positions at Rutgers University’s Office of Disability Services and the Independent Living Center of Rio de Janeiro.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Leticia values lifelong learning and believes in the power of intergenerational exchange and active listening. She is passionate about supporting others in continuing to grow, learn, and share wisdom throughout all stages of life.

Outside of work, Leticia enjoys walking, Pilates, yoga, and sewing, and is an avid reader and enthusiastic traveler. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue challenging herself mentally and physically while embracing the joys of discovery and connection.
