zzinsitz@cmaprinceton.orgWhile a native of New Jersey, Z is “culturally” a Texan, having been raised in Houston, Texas. They hold both a master of divinity and a master of arts in Christian education and formation from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a BA in liberal studies from the University of Houston. Z joined the Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP) team following their graduation from seminary and a previous five-year career in technical writing and content strategy in a software/tech company. They have held various administrative and communications roles in assorted nonprofits, including the Center for Responsible Lending and the United Church of Christ Justice & Witness Ministries. At CMAP, Z manages the CEO’s office, including implementing systems to increase efficiencies, research, and writing, managing board communications, and managing the reception desk at the Nancy S. Klath Center. Z has studied yoga and vipassana meditation in India and is passionate about spiritual direction and retreats. To their future retired self, Z says “I hope you do something that scares you a little bit. Comfort, like all things, is best in moderation.”
