Lisa Adler

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, raised in sunny South Florida, a New Yorker at heart, Lisa holds a BA from NYU, and MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work, and an MA in Jewish studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, New York. Lisa has been working in the nonprofit sector for more than twenty-five years in the areas of fundraising, board leadership development, program planning, and transition management. Lisa has held positions with two local Jewish Federations, the Jewish community’s umbrella funding network with affiliates across North America, Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County, as well as national organizations such as HIAS, an international refugee resettlement organization and the Union for Reform Judaism. At he Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP), Lisa oversees all aspects of our development department, including fundraising events, annual appeals, grants and foundation funding, and annual sponsorships, all to support the vital mission and vision of CMAP. Lisa is a “connector,” and loves to help people live their values through generosity and generativity. She loves running, cooking, and swimming in any lake, ocean, or pool but is most famous for her waterskiing prowess. Lisa hopes retirement finds her days filled with purpose and would tell her future self to “travel more, worry less.”
