Michelle Ribsam

Social Work Intern (she/her/hers)

A native of Trenton, New Jersey, Michelle is currently pursuing her MSW at Rutgers University and works with Mercer County Adult Protective Services, where she specializes in providing services for vulnerable populations of the elderly and homeless families. At Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP), Micelle works alongside Billi Charron and the social services team to co-facilitate support groups, conduct home visits, and develop, plan, and implement a variety of social and informational events for CMAP participants. Michelle and her husband eloped on the banks of the Ganges River in Rishikesh, India. She loves whipping up delectable vegan dishes, making her own pizza (she’s obsessed with pizza), embarking on leisurely walks or invigorating walks in the scenic parks around New Jersey, and training and playtime with her energetic Australian Shepherd, Cricket. For Michelle, CMAP’s mission mirrors the principles of social work, prioritizing the well-being, dignity, inclusion, and joy of older adults while upholding ethical standards and fostering continuous improvement.
